What are Debra's fees?
The pricing works on a sliding scale that is dependent upon each client's personal needs and level of service.
In the service of Debra's own mission to give back, she is donating 5% of every career coaching fee to Arts Connect International (ACI). Arts Connect International builds equity in, and through, the arts.
Coaching/counseling sessions are one hour over Zoom. Fees range from $125-$150 per hour. If your household yearly income is lower than $50,000 the rate is $125 per hour.
What does Debra's coaching look like?
The career development process centers on three major areas: self assessment, career exploration, and career implementation. These areas can be worked on simultaneously or separately. Debra likes to work in one hour sessions with clients. Coaching sessions offer the opportunity for a back and forth dialogue to articulate your career history and envision your career future. Debra will help you read between the lines of your story to help you move forward in alignment with your career goals and desires. Your story may or may not be a linear progression. Very often people find rewards in reaching back in time to connect with meaningful interests and desires. It is also important to consider how your career fits with the rest of your life.
Debra's coaching methods include using a variety of tools such as the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator), personality assessment and the Strong Interest Inventory. She finds these devices aid in her expertise in careers in education; particularly consulting, entrepreneurship, higher ed, and media and tech. Fundamentally, her coaching spans a wide field of specializations to help you with your writing and editing resumes, cv's, job related letters and coaching for interviews.
